Veriperintö on ensimmäisen The Sims 2 pelillä tekeillä oleva tarina. Se on kuvitteelliseen myöhäiseen keskiaikaan sijoittuva.

The Blood Legacy is my first The Sims 2 story that is still in the beginning. Story is placed in a fictional late Middle Age.

Tarina kertoo Wellingtonin, Kingstonin ja Fornean saarista, jotka kuuluvat Valmieran kuningas Charles V valtaan. Saaret löysi tutkimusmatkaryhmä, jonka kuningas lähetti etsimään uusia rikkauksia valtakunnalleen. Saarista suurimpaan, Wellingtoniin, saapuivat sittemmin sen ensimmäiset uudisasukkaat aatelistoperheet Caracas, Jadelion, Brynn ja Van Notte sekä joukko kirkonmiehiä, kauppias- ja talonpoikaisperheitä. Tarina keskittyy neljän aatelistoperheen 13. sukupolveen, sitten aikanaan, kun aloitan tarinan. Luvassa on kuitenkin otteita ensimmäisistä uudisasukkaista lähtien tarinan edetessä.

The story is about islands of Wellington, Kingston and Fornea that belongs to the King Charles V of Valmiera. Islands were found by a group of explorers the king send to find new resources and riches to his kingdom. To the biggest island, Wellington, then arrived the very first settlers, the nobel families of Caracas, Jadelion, Brynn and Van Notte and groups of clergymen, merchant and peasant families. Story will focus on the 13th generation of the four nobel families when the story begins. However, I will include stories starting from the first settlers as the story evolves.

On kuitenkin kerrottava, että tarina tulee etenemään erittäin hitaasti ja en ylläty, jos siihen menee jopa vuosi tai pari. Jo itse aloitusta saatte odottaa pitkään, koska minun on ensin pelatta tarinalle historia aina ensimmäisestä sukupolvesta 13:sta, joka aloittaa tarinan. Puhumattakaan, että minun tulee ensin rakentaa kaikkien saarien talot ja julkiset rakennukset sekä luoda perheet, koska en käytä pelin valmiita naapurustoja.

I have to inform that this story will proceed extremely slow and I won't be surprised, if it takes a year or two to do. You have to wait even the beginning for a long time, since I have to play the history of the story first staring from the first settlers to their 13th generation that starts the story. And not even mentioning all the building process' of houses and community areas and creating the families in the first place as I'm not using the game's ready neighbourhoods.
